00:00In just a week, we will count and start the most awaited run event this year, the Pokemon Fun Run.

00:07What should we look forward to? Let's find out with my good teammate, Bernadette Tinoy.

00:14For the first time ever, we will be able to experience the fun of Pikachu.

00:20Because this week, the first ever Pokemon Fun Run will be held in the country.

00:25Run Rio is known for organizing free run events.

00:30Rio de la Cruz assured that the safety of 10,000 Pokemon will be ensured

00:35for the category of 10km, 5km, 3km, and 1km run.

00:40Rio also added that they are expecting surprises for the Pokemon Runners.

00:46I think this is the definition of fun run.

00:50Because when you join this event, it's more of experiencing the run with Pikachu.

00:57So in just 15 minutes, the first wave of opening of our registration is sold out.

01:03And when we reopen it again, it's sold out again.

01:06So hoping for next year, if this race will be successful.

01:12Because we receive a lot of requests to open more slots.

01:16But of course, as I mentioned, our priority is the safety of our participants.

01:21And make sure that when they join this event, the fun factor will not be neglected.

01:26According to Susumu Fukunaga of The Pokemon Company Asia,

01:30they are positive that the Pokemon Run event will be successful

01:34because of the enthusiasm of the Filipinos.

01:37The Filipino Pokemon fans are really passionate.

01:45I feel that the Pokemon fans in the Philippines are really enthusiastic.

01:52And I understand and I felt that people in the Philippines really love Pokemon.

01:59Another thing is that Claudine and Daryl Yeo are excited to run.

02:03For Claudine, even though they did not register early,

02:07they are still hoping to join this event because her 10-year-old son is a Pokemon fan.

02:13Actually, the kids are happy when they run, especially when it's like this.

02:17Because they enjoy it more when there are a lot of kids.

02:20Coach Rillo said that this is the real fun run

02:23because there are a lot of kids, Pikachu is here, Pokemon is here.

02:27So that's what we're looking forward to.

02:30The Pokemon Fun Run will take place on February 9, Sunday,

02:34at the Mall of Asia Complex in Lungsod, Pasay.

02:37The gun start will start at 5 am for the 10-kilometer runners,

02:425.30 am for the 5-kilometer,

02:446 am for the 3-kilometer,

02:47and 6.30 am for the 1-kilometer runners.
