01:07on an album by a band you love, you're probably just absorbing like hundreds of tiny little audio

01:12snippets every day. the tiktokification of music is still at its infancy but it's bound to change

01:17the landscape of music forever. even for established artists, entering into a tiktok

01:21trending sound can immediately result in billboard hits like kate bush and running up that

01:26hill or the reverse effect with lesser known creators. a snippet of stick season went viral

01:30before the actual song was even released in real life. tiktok is the new grassroots music discovery

01:35platform where any musician can have success overnight.
