Detectives are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man near a South Coast train station. A 35-year-old woman has been charged with murder and will remain in custody. Brooke Chandler reports from outside Wollongong Local Court, where the case has been heard.

00:00Around 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon, police found a 25-year-old man along a walkway on
00:07Saturn Crescent at Dunmore, just behind Shell Harbour Junction train station.
00:12He had critical injuries, including a stab wound to his abdomen.
00:15He was treated by paramedics at the scene, but died.
00:19Police from Lake Illawarra, as well as state homicide detectives, set up a crime scene
00:23and spent much of yesterday afternoon scouring patches of long grass.
00:28Earlier this morning, a 35-year-old woman, Tamara Lee Doust, was arrested at a home at
00:33Albion Park Rail.
00:34She was taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station, refused police bail and charged with murder.
00:40She appeared via video link at Wollongong Local Court this afternoon, looking clearly
00:44distressed.
00:45The police prosecutor added an additional charge of accessory after the fact of murder.
00:50Her lawyer did not apply for bail, with the matter to be heard again in March.
00:55The victim wasn't formally identified in court.
00:58Police believe that a number of people were present at the scene at the time of the incident
01:03and are urging the public to come forward with information.
