00:00This is a great way to start the week for the Dallas Mavericks, kicking off Monday night

00:08with a win against the Washington Wizards with a final score of 130-108.

00:12The first quarter was unstoppable for Dallas as we saw the team hit nine threes early on,

00:18seven of those being from Blake Thompson who finished with 58% from behind the arc.

00:23As a team, the Mavs were able to maintain a 53.3 field goal percentage and also pulled

00:28down 51 total rebounds.

00:31Defensively, they were able to hold Washington to their usual 37 three-point attempts but

00:35only allowed 11 of those to connect.

00:37We spoke with head coach Jason Kidd following the matchup and he stated that Klay got everyone

00:42going and then everyone else followed after that.

00:45He finished the postgame presser and said, everyone was good tonight.

00:48Klay Thompson finished with 23 points, three rebounds and four assists.

00:52The Mavs will head on a six-game road trip beginning with the New Orleans Pelicans.
