00:00Looking at Everton and David Moyes coming in, in terms of the transfer situation, obviously
00:08a bit of an interesting one, changing manager halfway through the month almost. What's your
00:14take on the current transfer situation? Are fans expecting any business in or out? We've
00:20mentioned a few times positions that might need filled but that performance against Spurs
00:25at home was absolutely fantastic. So it's sort of cut those worries out maybe for fans
00:30for now for the time being. But obviously a big run in left, they are still just hovering
00:36above the relegation zone. They need to make sure that they continue this little run and
00:41don't sort of fall back towards the bottom three.
00:44Yeah, definitely. And David Moyes said after the Tottenham game for his goals to win, whilst
00:49he wasn't getting carried away, he still knows that Everton need players through the door
00:54because Stilton scored 18 league goals in 21 games and that's the second fewest behind.
01:01And I mean, just in front of Southampton who are obviously in deep, deep trouble. A lot
01:08of supporters still want to see intact and improvements. You know, Almanzo Broge is now
01:13out for three months. Yusef Chimithy's absence as well, so that leaves two strikers. Dominic
01:19Albert-Lewin scored a great goal against Tottenham but it was his first in September.
01:25As well as Jesper Lindström did against Tottenham, he still hasn't been absolutely consistent
01:32since he arrived. In the midfield, is there enough goals in there and is there enough
01:37threat from the full-backs? So it's an interesting one because we speak to this less than two
01:42weeks now and David Moyes has said that Everton need players, elite players from the elite
01:49stadium that they're moving to. But they also need recruits coming in who are going to make
01:54an instant impact. Moyes' command said they like Ernest Neumar at Lyon but he's off the
02:03profile of a development side and he couldn't come in and go right. You're our new right
02:07winger, we're expecting five goals and five assists from you in the second half of the
02:11season. It wouldn't be fair on the lads to start with and you can't get a guarantee.
02:17It's a difficult market, Everton are working in. They have got some wiggle room with the
02:22PSR but what sort of players do they sign? Do they want development ones or do they want
02:28younger players who will give their all? I think whoever Everton sign, there's going
02:33to be one fault to them. Whether it's a younger player, whether it's an older player but maybe
02:41has a couple of injuries in the past or maybe has had a bit of an attitude problem in the
02:45past per se when it comes to who they're bringing in and decides what would be best. But yeah,
02:53the attacking players need us, maybe in midfield there and the full-back area, the left-back
02:57area is somewhere they could look at.
