Two year roadwork scheme on the A38: How will it disrupt the city?

A two year roadworks scheme along the A38 in Bristol is set to start in February. The scheme is intending to install cycle paths and improve crossings for pedestrians amongst other things and will affect the A38 road.

00:18new bus lanes along the outskirts of Bristol on the A38 road.

00:25The project has been split into three sets of improvements, the A38 between Almondsbury

00:31and Grovesend, Alverston Hill and Bradley Stoke Way, and it will also affect the A38

00:38Aztec West roundabout.

00:43Following a consultation in 2024, spring of this year will also see the start of a

00:49future proof of the A38 Limekill roundabout on the outskirts of Bristol which takes people

00:56directly to Bristol Airport.
