New CCTV shows grandmother Rose Johnston socialising with friends shortly before she was found dead at her home in Dovecot.

The footage shows Rose at a Prescot pub wearing the same clothes she was later found in. Two men have been arrested and released on conditional bail, while her family continues to appeal for answers.

00:00New CCTV has been released as detectives continue investigating the murder of Rose Johnston in Dovecourt.
00:07The 68-year-old was found dead at her home on Ancroft Road on the 4th of October last year
00:14after suffering a blunt force head injury.
00:17Police say the footage was recorded two days before Rose was found dead.
00:21It shows her with friends at the Watchmaker pub in Prescott, around four miles from her home.
00:28She's wearing the same clothes she was later found wearing.
00:33Chief Inspector Catherine Walsh says Rose left the pub and travelled home by taxi.
00:39Police say that was the last time she was seen alive.
00:43Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder and released on conditional bail as enquiries continue.
00:50Rose's family say they are desperate to know what happened.
00:54They described her as honest, hard-working and caring and said her death was devastating.
