00:00DAP MP Hannah Yeoh is set to serve a letter of demand on Perak PAS chief Razman Zakaria,

00:07who recently claimed that she was linked to the Yeoh family of the YTL Corporation Berhad conglomerate.

00:13While Razman later apologised for his claim that the Segambut MP was the daughter of a rich man,

00:20Yeoh said the PAS leader had made other allegedly defamatory allegations against her in the same speech.

00:26In a post on X, the Youth and Sports Minister told Razman to wait for a letter of demand from

00:32her lawyer, saying that slander cannot be allowed to be a norm, especially among religious people.

00:38Yesterday, Yeoh slammed Razman over his claim, telling the Gunung Semanggol Assemblyman that

00:44not all Yeohs are related. Later that same day, Razman apologised for his mistake,

00:50but also expressed disappointment over the media coverage of his speech.

00:55He accused the press of deliberately focusing on the 10-second part referencing Yeoh

01:00without reporting on the other parts or broader issues.
