We had a really good sale, we added about 2,000 cattle and we kicked off with a lovely run of
00:04
black steers that made anywhere from $3.80 through to early $4. A lot of them going to either
00:09
Gippsland or Feedlot. Then we got back into the middleweight wing of black steers, they were
00:14
making $3.90 to $4.10 or $4.20 in spots but mostly around the $4 mark. A lot of them stayed local or
00:20
down to Gippsland. Top of the heifers very very good as well $3.50 or $0.60 a kilo there with
00:27
plenty of weight up towards 400 kilos. When we got into the lighter weight heifers so you know
00:34
sub 300 it got a bit tough those cattle are only making $2.50 to $2.80 in step with what's happened
00:40
the last couple of weeks.
