00:55University Malaya sparked public outrage for displaying the Malaysian halal logo.
01:01Following inspections by the Islamic Development Department and the Domestic Trade and Cost
01:06of Living Ministry, two KK Supermart outlets in the university were closed on January 10.
01:13In its statement, KK Supermart clarified that Shake and Bake Cafe had provided a halal certificate
01:20for the chicken ham and cheese used in the sandwich.
01:23Investigations by JAKIM and the ministry are ongoing.
