00:11In a statement, the supplier listed the ingredients used in the sandwich as bread, cheese, and

00:18They also confirmed that at noon on January 10, 2025, officers from the Federal Territories

00:23Branch of the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry and JAKIM officers came to its factory,

00:29which is currently under investigation.

00:32The company also promised to give the ministry and JAKIM its full cooperation in this investigation.

00:37KK Mart was previously reported as having suspended all business dealings with the supplier

00:42of the pre-packed chicken, ham, and cheese sandwich sold at one of its outlets at University

00:47Malaya.

00:48JAKIM had previously confirmed that the sandwich in question, along with the company manufacturing

00:54it, did not have halal certification.
