00:00
to thousands of thousands of children and women.
00:11
So they are violating the human right of the Palestinian people.
00:17
They wanted to make it official.
00:19
Then they will formalize something that never could be accepted.
00:24
And so that's why we have seen expressions in favor of the Palestinian people.
00:31
So we will never get tired of defending Palestine.
00:34
And we will never going to see it normal.
00:38
Because those assassinations, those murders of massive human beings are not correct.
00:46
So it is really cruel, brutal, those hours of suffering that we have said in September.
00:55
The big challenges that humanity pose, dear Abel, welcome brothers who accompanied us.
01:07
It is very concerning the neo-fascist network that is expanding in Europe.
01:14
And so in the European origins, we have seen 17 countries, 726 organizations.
01:26
And we see how the map is becoming fascist.
01:34
And how can we understand fascist?
01:37
Every era has a fascist model according to the capitalist model.
01:46
So we cannot understand fascism without understanding its origin,
01:51
which is from the capitalist model, from the private entrepreneurs,
01:58
and just the owners of whole nations.
02:02
And that same fascist network that is expanding in Europe,
02:08
it is expressed in America, in Latin America, and the Caribbean.
02:14
In Argentina, our homage to the Argentinian people,
02:19
who is a victim of a fascist who is in office and in power.
02:25
Our acknowledgment to Argentinian workers who have been subdued permanently
02:31
to the greatest scourges like layoffs, violating their working rights.
02:41
And so something that makes us uptight is seeing their satisfaction to subdue the Argentinian people.
02:53
So we are a great homeland, so we suffer with the Argentinian people in Bolivia, in Brazil.
03:02
And so knowing what Bolsonaro represents as a real threat to democracy in Brazil,
03:11
in Chile, in Colombia, in Costa Rica, in the United States of America, in Ecuador, in El Salvador,
03:18
in Guatemala, Honduras, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Mexico, and Venezuela.
03:24
In all those countries of our continent are today movements and political parties of a fascist way,
03:35
of a neo-fascist nature, and we cannot be hand-tight.
03:43
So I think that the Global Congress Against Fascism must be extended,
03:49
and we may recognize the work of its promoters,
03:57
because in November we held an anti-fascist forum.
04:06
So it is to work on social media and to be monitoring all this,
04:15
because they pretend to control our whole planet.
04:19
We don't have time to waste, because this is the time that humanity has summoned us to fight against fascism.
04:28
There is no other time, there is no tomorrow, because if we leave it for tomorrow,
04:36
maybe humanity won't exist, people won't exist, only corporations who have taken control of states and human lives.
04:47
In a way that the escalation, the scale, the biggest breakthroughs of technology and science
05:00
have allowed fascism to be extended in a blink.
05:10
So that's why technology has just boosted these neo-fascist trends,
05:16
so we must know it to know the challenges that artificial intelligence poses, that social media poses,
05:24
and that's why we know that the owners of social media who say without shame
05:34
that their algorithm promotes death, violence, unhappiness, sadness, sadness over happiness,
05:43
it is just promoting this scale in an exponential scale with big aftermath.
05:52
So I appreciate you all for supporting Venezuela in which is its legitimate right to defend itself.
06:03
What we are witnessing today, right now, and we have a shared screen,
06:08
there's the Venezuelan people there on the screen, not only in Caracas but nationwide.
06:14
They just come out to the streets to support the president,
06:19
and they do it in a way that it means that every Venezuelan who is marching
06:28
is marching against fascism for peace, for tranquility, for democracy, for social happiness.
06:36
They have a crystal clear awareness, crystal clear ideological awareness,
06:43
very optimum to be able to defeat fascism in Venezuela.
06:48
Yesterday we said it in front of a union of transportation,
06:58
so we are going to find a tomb for fascism here in Venezuela,
07:05
because we are going to defeat fascism with President Maduro,
07:16
so we will dig that tomb of fascism for them not to dare anymore to take control of their lives,
07:24
or privatize human lives in our continent.
07:28
And so there, dear brother Abel, our acknowledgment to Cuba, decades of resilience,
07:37
heroic moral resilience with historical clarity, forged in Marti's thought,
07:47
with the conduction led by Commander Fidel Castro,
07:53
who continues teaching us the path for the global countries.
08:02
And so Cuba is very brave not surrendering in front of the worst economic sanctions
08:12
that the Cuban people have been suffering.
08:14
Those decades of resistance of Cuba nurtured this national anti-fascist movement,
08:25
so who can dare to say that Cuba is not a referral to defend dignity,
08:32
to imply what it is the resilience of the people,
08:38
which raises its flags with bravery, with high moral.
08:43
There is no space in this planet that doesn't recognize the Cuban revolution,
08:52
which has been a legacy for other movements worldwide.
08:58
So another example is the Sandinist revolution.
09:04
Another example is the leadership of Commander Ortega,
09:10
being resilient, very near from the empire, without fear, with bravery.
09:16
So it is the fears, the strength that unites our people,
09:22
because there is no other way but being radical in front of fascism.
09:27
We cannot tremble here.
09:30
We have to be steadfast, to be or not to be,
09:37
as we have seen governments in our continent that said to be progressists,
09:44
but they just dance with fascism and they applaud to the far right.
09:49
We cannot tremble, we have to be firm.
09:52
In this time we have to be steadfast and radical to defend the human beings,
09:58
to defend the law of happiness and brotherhood among peoples.
10:03
We have to be steadfast to defend what is a human sacred right,
10:12
to defend the human rights of all men and women.
10:16
So you know that with Venezuela it is more than trembling from some governments,
10:27
the Venezuelan people have been teaching lessons of dignity.
10:33
And so I said to those far right governments who have been assaulting Venezuela,
10:40
and that pay attention to our history.
10:44
And so those lackeys who have us usurped the political power of our countries to betray our peoples.
10:55
So President Nicolás Maduro said about Pelele, about the Panamanian president,
11:05
instead of messing up with Venezuela, go and defend the Panama Canal
11:12
that imperialism wants to take you away from.
11:17
So defend Panama, defend what Torrijos meant in the recovery of Panama
11:24
and in the Panamanian martyrs who defended the Panama Canal.
11:29
So be brave, so the Venezuelan people will never forget what you are doing against Venezuela.
11:39
Likewise, the leader of the Dominican Republic who is supporting an usurper,
11:46
who is paying homage to his name because he is disseminating over countries their dirt, his filth, his dirt.
12:06
She is referring to Edmundo González.
12:08
And so at this time the Venezuelan people is giving an answer,
12:14
a resounding answer of what we are, of what we will be,
12:18
and what we will be willing to do to defend our democracy,
12:22
to defend our path of self-determination.
12:27
So they think that fascism in Venezuela, well the Venezuelan fascism thinks that
12:36
alliances with former presidents of the far right who are involved in children's sexual assault,
12:50
in drug trafficking, in corruption.
12:53
So they are pedophiles, corrupt drug dealers.
12:57
Those are the allies of Edmundo González who intends to create destabilization in Venezuela,
13:05
who dreams of a coup d'état sponsored by fascism,
13:12
by a similar melee who is Maria Corina Machado,
13:20
who is a shame for the women on this continent.
13:33
She is a shame for those women who fought for Venezuela.
13:38
It is such a shame to have to say that in Venezuela there is a fascist,
13:44
a woman fascist who has promoted the economic criminal blockade against Venezuela
13:53
to cause suffering to our workers, to our children, to our grandparents.
14:01
So they are responsible because they asked for it and they continue to ask it.
14:07
At this hour they are calling Washington to watch for more sanctions against Venezuela.
14:15
So they think that in that way they are trying to overthrow our democratic government.
14:24
So we are celebrating the strategic overthrow of fascism here in Venezuela
14:35
against all those millions of dollars that were allocated in Venezuela
14:45
to sponsor terrorist actions, to sponsor lies.
14:50
And so that's why we said it is a strategic overthrow.
14:55
The July 2024 defeat against fascism ratifying President Maduro as president is just a victory.
15:07
And President Maduro won't kneel down on fascism.
15:15
He is always facing those fierce, backsliding empires defending Latin America and the Caribbean
15:27
to say that here there are good men and women willing to give their lives for the homeland
15:37
in homage to the legacy of Simon Bolivar.
15:41
So I appreciate your presence here and I invite you all to see the real Venezuela.
15:47
The Venezuela that is not an Instagram or TikTok or X.
15:54
All those social media manipulated for...
15:59
And so today what we are really seeing is overwhelming.
16:09
It's impacting how people...
16:17
Well, there President Maduro challenged Elon Musk.
16:22
And so you have a pending challenge, Elon Musk.
16:25
Elon Musk is touring the world insulting politicians because deep down he despises...
16:35
He expresses fascism despised against people, against the peoples.
16:43
And so there are politicians who kneel down, who are getting insulted
16:52
and run away not to be able to respond, not responding.
16:57
But President Maduro has always facing problems defending homeland and not letting us to be humiliated.
17:06
So we have to recognize President Maduro's loyalty to Chavez
17:11
and that President Maduro has been very brave at the time of defending Venezuela.
17:18
At the time of standing for Venezuela, rejecting all offers to abandon this homeland
17:25
because he has said no, because he said he's going to continue defending his people.
17:33
So imagine what it would imply if fascism take over the political power
17:41
where the biggest natural resources are.
17:48
So they have yield for always.
17:56
Decades before, they just took over natural resources of Venezuela.
18:05
They took all resources from us to Washington streets.
18:10
All oil, all coal.
18:13
And Commander Chavez was the precursor of the energy sovereignty of Venezuela
18:21
and the political sovereignty.
18:24
Commander Chavez just defended our natural resources and our homeland
18:34
saying that this homeland is anti-imperialistic.
18:38
And so there is a contradiction that history reveals today
18:44
because we have always been on the path of Bolivar and the liberators.
18:50
We said it yesterday.
18:53
On December 9th, we commemorated the Battle of Ayacucho
19:03
in which we reached our independence.
19:06
And Ayacucho implied all battles waged by our liberator army for the freedom of our Latin America.
19:23
So how can we deny that we were born anti-imperialist?
19:32
And so those hegemonic people must understand it.
19:38
They are backsliding, but they are dangerous.
19:42
I have brought a quotation that maybe you don't know it, dear Abel,
19:50
but I am going to open with it.
19:53
The first truth is that the freedom of a democracy is not saved
19:59
if people tolerate the growing of power in private hands
20:07
to the point that defeats democracy.
20:18
Well, I haven't known it.
20:25
That's from Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
20:28
So pay attention to what is happening in the United States of America.
20:33
Precursor of fascism in the planet.
20:40
For us to understand that upcoming times are harsh,
20:47
but there is a new world that is showing hope.
20:52
When we see the resilience of the Palestinian people, we know that there is hope.
21:00
When we see the resilience of Cuba, we know that there is hope and future.
21:06
When we see the struggles of Nicaragua and Venezuela in our continent,
21:11
we know that there is hope and future.
21:15
And when we see that there is a new world that is beginning to build up in the BRICS group,
21:23
we know and understand that there is a future and we have to bet on that future.
21:29
Chavez bet on that future without naming the BRICS.
21:33
But Venezuela, from the beginning, is a BRICS country because Chavez said
21:39
we have to weave international relations, bilateral relations,
21:44
in a diversified, multipolar, multicentered way,
21:51
with multipolar powers, with nations that do not think alike, that do not be hegemonic.
22:00
And Chavez thought about a unique currency.
22:03
And that's why we are a BRICS country, because Chavez knew it.
22:10
And President Maduro has consolidated that path of what it implies,
22:15
a new world in which we will be there, because the Venezuelan people will be there.
22:20
And that's why we are waging the battles that we are waging,
22:23
to defend our dignity as a people in our hands, in the Venezuelan hands.
22:33
We want to lose the dignity of our liberator army, of Bolivar's dignity,
22:40
the greatest of our universe, with his military doctrine,
22:45
his political, humanitarian, social doctrine.
22:50
When he raises in his Angostura speech and says to the world that other world is possible,
22:59
a world of social justice and equity, that world is possible.
23:04
And when Venezuela be summoned at the hours of the new world that is being waging,
23:11
that is being forging, there we will be on the front line.
23:16
Because it is something that we have, it is the right to defend ourselves as a people,
23:23
and to raise our flag for a different humanity, for a better humanity, for a more humane humanity.
23:31
And that's why we thank you all, because we are there at that human.
23:36
Welcome to you all to this anti-fascist festival.
23:40
So let's oath with Venezuela, let's get an oath for the friendship and the humanity of the peoples.
