CBS Sports analyst Will Brinson gives BMitch and JP his favorite picks for the NFL Wild Card round. He believes a certain former Super Bowl winning head coach can take his team on a deep run into January.

00:19live to beat the Eagles and

00:21this is not necessarily like

00:28be able to play at the top of

00:30the league. I mean, Jordan

00:36but I just think I wouldn't be

00:40shocked if Jordan love hadn't

00:43thrown a pick since what like

00:44Toyota found again or whatever

00:46the mean? I mean, we saw this

00:48not to the same extent like he

00:49came in the playoffs a lot

00:51hotter last year than he did

00:52this year, but he's like he's

00:54in control of the offense.

00:55They're playing great football.

00:56I like with like nine out of 10 years.

00:58It just happened to be a 15 win and a 14 win team above them in the division,

01:04I think that Jordan Love, there's a chance Jordan Love goes into Philly and

01:08is just on fire.

01:10It is dealing and he's just sort of a gamer like you, you know,

01:13like he did last year against Dallas and a good Dallas defense coach by, you know,

01:16Dan Quinn.

01:18I just think that is very much in play and you look at the spread.

01:22It's only four and a half.

01:23I think I think I think Green Bay is kind of live to take down Philly.

01:26And then I don't think that I think the Rams should be favored against the

01:31Vikings.

01:31Now, the California, the California stuff.

01:34I mean tragic like somebody.

01:35I mean, I got a buddy who lives out there who lost a couch yesterday.

01:38It's unbelievable, you know, what's happening out there and obviously

01:42football a second if they have to move the game, which I think is becoming

01:46maybe increasingly likely.

01:47We heard the NFL, you know, like announced what the contingency plan was

01:51when the league does that it's way further down the road of exploring that

01:56than normal.

01:56Like when I heard there's a hurricane buried out of Florida.

01:59They're like, we're monitoring the weather in this case.

02:01They're actually like if they have to move, we will move it to Arizona.

02:04So that's a little bit of a concern from the Rams perspective.

02:07And obviously everything going on, you know, with players who have their

02:11families that live nearby and all that but you look at the time that they

02:16played this year in the regular season.

02:17Maddie Stafford completed 75% of his passes against that Brian Flores defense

02:21for touchdowns eight yards per attempt and against the Blitz.

02:24If you look at the advanced stats 9 out of 12 like floors to heat after him on

02:2812 dropbacks completed nine good passes.

02:31I just think it's like rarely.

02:33Do you have a situation where you know, you're going to have a coaching

02:36advantage over Kevin O'Connell?

02:38Who's a great coach, but Sean McVeigh, I think is a better coach in Kevin

02:42O'Connell.

02:43I mean both very both top 10 maybe top five.

02:46You have a coaching advantage and you have a massive quarterback advantage.

02:49You know, Sam Darnold started first playoff game.

02:51We saw him against Detroit in that big spot.

02:54I think it's a it's a tough.

02:56I think it's a tough spot for Darnold and I just think the Rams should be

03:00I think they win that game as well.

03:01You think the the Lions gave the Ramble anybody else's secret to go

03:07because Donald when you don't rush him, he'll pick you apart.

03:12He was throwing the ball wherever.

03:15I think yeah, I think you'll see a lot more pressure packages.

03:18You get heat on Darnold, you know, and again, like, you know, you talk

03:22about getting one-dimensional.

03:23If you can sort of force them to throw a ton and you know, I think the

03:28guys having a week arrest you saw Blake Horn breaks his forearm that

03:33that's that's a blow to that depth that Rams running game, but you know,

03:37it speaks to why Sean McVeigh rest of the guys and wasn't worried about

03:40whose opponent was going to be in the wildcard rounder whether he's a

03:43three or four seed.

03:45Yeah, I think I think they said heat after Darnold and you see Stafford

03:49come out and look really really sharp.

03:51I mean, I'm as big as Matthew Stafford stand as your guests, but I mean

03:54the guy is a gamer.

03:55Yeah.

03:56He either people think he padded stats for years in Detroit, but the

03:59freaking Lions man.

04:00He had the Lions in the playoffs several times before there was any

04:03Lions.

04:03So I think I think Stafford shows up and I think the Rams are kind of

04:08trying to make maybe even a deep run.

04:09People are kind of sleeping on them.

04:11I tend to agree with you on both of those.

04:13I think the pack could be live.

04:15I like the Rams.

04:16I think the bills might keep that relatively close in Buffalo.

04:20I don't think the weather will scare them.

04:21I don't know.

04:22It's going to be I can't wait.
