A former Bristol bank could be converted in to flats

Empyrean Properties Limited wants to convert the old Natwest bank on the corner of Wells Road and Greenmore Road in Knowle into 9 flats.

00:09proposed plans. Empreen Properties Ltd wants to convert the old NatWest bank on the corner

00:16of Wells Road and Grenmore Road in Knoll into nine flats under these proposed plans. The

00:24plans have officially been submitted to Bristol City Council. The flats would spread across

00:29the old grand floor of the bank and two storeys of the offices above. The bank was used continuously

00:39from 1972 until the branch closed in July 2023 and the unit is currently vacant. The

00:47new flats would be next to the existing Lloyds Bank and opposite Broadwalk Shopping Centre

00:53which is due to be demolished. Plans have not yet been confirmed.
