00:00We're here tonight with some of our friends at the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health.
00:06You guys tour like crazy, I mean, even to this day.
00:09How do you guys just sort of make sure you're good mentally as you sort of navigate this
00:12crazy industry?
00:13You just got to listen to what your body is saying, I think, and then act on that.
00:18It usually comes in the form of breaks, or like setting aside time, like not overextending
00:28yourself, not overworking.
00:30Leave all the still clapping as a mantra that you can apply to a lot of different areas
00:34of your life.
00:35Yeah, amen.
00:36It is really important to keep the place that music comes from protected, because it's supposed
00:40to be fun.
00:44We do what we can to try to keep it fun, and usually that means stepping back and trying
00:48to focus on other areas of life than just trying to be the best band we can.
00:55Our friends at the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health are all about hope, recovery,
00:59and well-being, and they're here for all of us.
