00:06from illegal Philippine offshore gaming operators or POGO who remain in the country will face

00:11severe penalties.

00:13The DOJ says around 11,000 foreign POGO workers who failed to leave the Philippines last year

00:19are set to be deported.

00:20These workers either failed to downgrade their visas or did not leave within the given time.

00:26To recall, the Bureau of Immigration or BI has given until October 18, 2024 for POGO

00:31workers to downgrade their visas to temporary visitor's permits.
