00:00A vlogger in Cebu was killed when a bomb exploded in his chest and face.

00:05This is the story of Jesse Atienza of PTV Cebu.

00:11A video was taken of a man who was hit by a bomb, which is called a bombshell.

00:17When it suddenly exploded, it hit his face and chest.

00:21Because of the explosion, the man was not able to stand up.

00:25The victim, John Cyril Remis, tried to bring him to the hospital.

00:30But he was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.

00:37Meanwhile, when it hit 12 o'clock in Cebu City,

00:40the residents were fighting back with their own guns.

00:46There was even a dance in their community.

00:48According to the people of Cebu City,

00:50they were able to enjoy their happiness, especially since they only celebrate once in a while.

00:56Because it's New Year, we only go home once in a while.

01:02We're from California, so we only celebrate New Year here once in a while.

01:08According to the Cebu City Fire Station,

01:10no one was injured or burned,

01:12even during the Christmas celebration because of the explosions.

01:16They claim that their information dissemination was of great help.

01:21We claim it as a huge success.

01:24Again, this is a testament that fire safety is really everybody's concern.

01:36The people of Cebu City are busy preparing food.

01:39On the other hand, on the first day of the year,

01:43the residents of Barangay Labangon were able to celebrate.

01:46Even though the preparations were simple,

01:48they were able to celebrate happily.

01:50Yes, we're happy because all of us are here because we want our New Year to be happy.
