00:00The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission of Paok shared their achievements in the past year,

00:07particularly in banning the Pugos following the directives of President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr.

00:13In an interview with Paok Executive Director Undersecretary Gilbert Cruz,

00:18in the program Bagong Pilipinas Nayon,

00:2180% of the Pugos were shut down and their commission was suspended.

00:27They also continue to target guerrilla operations or small-scale Pugos,

00:32particularly in Visayas and Mindanao.

00:35U.C. Cruz mentioned that the coordination of the Department of Interior and Local Governments, or DILG,

00:43in the local governments to ensure that there is no longer an operation of Pugos.

00:48According to Paok,

00:50if more than 27,000 Pugos workers leave, the Bureau of Immigration will be shut down.

00:59It's good that the DILG and our coordination with Secretary John B. Cremulia are now shut down.

01:09And of course, the DOJ, because they are the ones helping us to file the case.

01:13Because the permit was no longer given to our Pag Corps.

01:17And the directive of our good friend, SILG John B. Cremulia,

01:21is that the permits will no longer be renewed.

01:24The local government units cannot renew their permits anymore,

01:29especially for the activities of the Pugo Hubs.
