Some members of the Muslim Community are claiming that they are being targeted and humiliated by the authorities when they try to re-enter the country of their birth.
Here's the story.

00:00Imtiaz Mohamed, Mufti Abrar Ali and Maulana Sean Pilgrim led three separate
00:06groups of devotees to the Umrah pilgrimage. The three and their groups
00:10were among some 250 passengers returning from Gatwick to the Piyako
00:16International Airport on Monday night. They are calling it strange that they
00:20were the only one singled out for security interviews. So when we lined up
00:25at the immigration, right, we were almost halfway on the line to senior
00:34officer when an immigration officer loudly announced the names
00:41Imtiaz Mohamed, Abrar Ali and Sean Pilgrim several times, three times, four
00:48times, each one, right. And this could have been avoided because when you do these
00:54kind of things in immigration like this, the first thing is that your reputation
01:00become questionable. Mohamed argues some professionalism ought to have been
01:06exercised. He tells us he demanded a reason for being singled out before he
01:11agreed to an interview and he received three different answers. One, government,
01:18right. When I were walking between immigration and customs, one of the
01:23officer myself was in conversation because I was strongly objecting to what
01:26was happening, right. He said to me, the only work to do is the government. That
01:33was his statement. When I get to the customs, again, the other reason given was
01:41three police officers, the police officers based at the airport give them
01:47three names. I told them to pull me aside, search us, interview us or whatever and
01:53find out about your travel history, right. And the third reason given is
01:57CARICOM AP system. Mohamed is calling it Islamophobia and believes it has been
02:04further empowered by the state of emergency. To the Muslim ministers and
02:09the Muslim senators in the government, right, all are of no use to the Muslim
02:16community. While all you have a responsibility to support all your party
02:20and in government and etc, right, all your first, all your first commitment
02:26should be to fulfill all your religious obligations, especially to the Muslim
02:32community. Mr. Mohamed says such acts are causing resentment among the Muslim
02:38community to want the authorities.
