00:00We have four games tonight, but I'm just going to tell you my favorite play,

00:03and it's a little stroll down Narrative Street, my friend. I love the narratives,

00:07and there's no narrative that I could support more than this one today,

00:11which is LeBron James, who turned 40 yesterday. This is his first game in his 40s for the Lakers,

00:18who is playing host to his original team, his hometown team, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

00:24Now, I don't know if the Lakers are going to win this game, even though I think they will,

00:27probably, because, I don't know, the universe works in mysterious ways. Sure,

00:31the Cavs are the better team, but the play that I like, you're going to give me LeBron over 23.5

00:37points? That's it? 23.5 points, and the guy's been lighting it up of late anyway, and he's

00:42not going to look to show out at home against his old team as a 40-year-old now? Yes, please,

00:48take my money. I like that play, and it'll be interesting, the Lakers with the trade.

00:55To me, it's more about addition by subtraction in regards to getting D'Lo off the roster. They

00:59need to do it, but I do think Dorian Finney-Smith and Shaq Milton helped fortify that bench,

01:05especially the way that Dorian Finney-Smith's shooting over 40 percent from three. So,

01:09I agree with you. I do like that play. In regards to plays that I like tonight,

01:14I like the San Antonio Spurs minus a point. You look at the fact that Clippers on the second leg

01:19of a back-to-back, I think you can get the Spurs with value there. I do also like the Grizzlies

01:25plus the points at Phoenix. I know Devin Booker is back. Phoenix are two different teams when it

01:31comes to how they play with everybody. I'm going to go ahead, and I'm going to take the points

01:37with the Grizzlies, and then OKC versus the Timberwolves, I'm going to lay the points

01:41with the Oklahoma City Thunder. I, Adam, Minnesota's not right. I know they got that

01:48win over Dallas on Christmas Day. They're not right. This heart, this Randall thing ain't

01:56working. It doesn't go well with me. I do think the Thunder will get the win in the cover,

02:01but I do like Rudy Gobert over 10 and a half rebounds because he's got to deal with Hartenstein.

02:05He's got to stay inside. Big Rudy will at least get over 10 and a half boards tonight.

02:10Seems to be following Julius Randall, doesn't it? Wasn't the right fit in New York either.

02:16Hey, listen, I'll tell you this right now. You know what Randall will ball out next year. Why?

02:21It's the last year of his deal. Remember the thumbs down year with the Knicks? Terrible.
