Taiwan welcomed 2025 with spectacular fireworks and light show featuring the theme "Team Taiwan Champion" inspired by the victory of its baseball team at the WBSC Premier12 championships last month.
Around 200 giant theatre puppets and scarecrows were paraded in a unique New Year countdown event in Cambodia while Australia had its usual fireworks display over Sydney Harbour.
