The Foreign Ministry on Saturday said four Malaysian nationals
00:03
sustained minor injuries in the fatal bus crash in northern Norway.
00:08
The ministry said the four victims had been relocated to the Thon Hotel in Lofoten.
00:13
They said due to ongoing investigations,
00:15
the passengers had not been allowed access to phones or direct communication
00:20
with anyone outside of their premises.
00:22
They said the Malaysian embassy in Stockholm is monitoring the developments,
00:27
but the investigation, coupled with severe winter conditions
00:31
and the distance of approximately 1,500 kilometres from Oslo,
00:36
had posed logistical challenges in accessing and supporting the Malaysian victims.
00:42
During the incident on Wednesday afternoon,
00:44
the bus drove off a road plunging into a lake near the Rafsundet Strait.
00:49
Of the 58 passengers on board,
00:51
three died while four sustained serious injuries
00:54
and are receiving treatment at Stockmarns Hospital.
00:57

01:02
India, the Netherlands, South Sudan, France and Ukraine.
