00:13Due to the increasing number of cases of cancer in Zamboanga City,
00:17Zamboanga City Medical Center launched their anti-smoking campaign.
00:22It was launched through their Smoking Cessation Program in Naturang Hospital.
00:27Overall, before 2023, we had around 800 cases of cancer.
00:33By 2024, we'll have around 3,000 cases.
00:36So, the Smoking Cessation Program in Zamboanga City is similar to that of other medical centers.
00:41So, this is one way that we can increase the viral burden of cancer,
00:46which is to prevent smoking.
00:47And in order to reduce the number of carcinogens in the city,
00:51ZCMC taught how to enroll in the Smoking Cessation Program
00:55and the benefits they can get under the Naturang Program.
00:59Or you can also visit us at the Public Health Unit.
01:03Then, there's an assessment form.
01:06Once you fill out the assessment form,
01:09you will be now enrolled in the Smoking Cessation Program.
01:13The Naturang Program encourages individuals,
01:16especially smokers, to stop smoking.
