00:00The Commission on Elections, or COMELEC, continued to finalize the list of candidates for the 2025 midterm elections.

00:07In fact, the COMELEC already has the final list of 66 senatorial aspirants.

00:13For the party lists, only 155 groups are declared as the Trabajo at Wage Hike party list backed out.

00:20For local candidates, the poll body continues to remove unqualified aspirants one by one.

00:27Meanwhile, ballot printing is expected to begin on the 6th of January,

00:31with COMELEC ensuring no nuisance or unqualified candidates will be included.
