00:20The Commission on Elections Zamboanga is currently holding an automated counting machine or ACM roadshow
00:25in the 98 barangays and two major malls in Zamboanga City.
00:29This initiative aims to prepare voters for the upcoming May 2025 midterm elections.
00:34Comleg reminds voters that each person gets only one ballot,
00:38highlighting the importance of proper shading and avoiding over-voting to prevent ballot spoilage.
00:44The new ACMs are designed for faster and more efficient counting.
00:47Zamboanga City Election Officer Attorney Jean-Christian Baviera emphasized the importance of these demonstrations,
00:54noting that changes to the machines require voters to be informed for a smooth and efficient election day experience.
01:01There are features in the ACM which are new, so it would be better that we will be conducting the ACM demonstration and roadshow.
01:09Zamboanga City has a total of 120 precincts,
01:12and Comleg has assured that all necessary measures are in place to ensure a well-organized and prepared election day.
