00:00The Department of Agriculture has admitted that reducing the price of rice is a challenge.

00:04That is why the Rice for All Program will be strengthened.

00:07The price of rice will be increased from January to January, from P35 to P36 per kilo.

00:13That is cheaper than P40 in Kadiwa Stores.

00:17In 2025, nutritious nutri-rice will be released, from P36 to P37 per kilo.

00:24This is just one of its branches, that is why nutrients, fiber, and higher rice recovery are maintained from rice.

00:31The DA has a budget of P5 billion for the program,

00:34and will target 1,200 additional Kadiwa Stores in markets or barangays,

00:40starting from the current P300.

00:42The DA will help mayors so that cheap rice can enter the market.

00:46The DA will also provide assistance to farmers

00:49to increase production and lower the price of rice.
