00:07second ever in second annual NBA in-season competition, the

00:132024 Emirates NBA Cup tonight in Las Vegas in Sin City

00:19between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Milwaukee Bucks.

00:23The Thunder, a five-point favorite to win the cup tonight

00:27with a total of 215 and a hook. Joe, we have reached the

00:32stage. The championship of the second ever in-season

00:35competition around the association. These games have

00:40been incredible. The atmospheres have felt the

00:43intensity of a playoff matchup and with a title at stake

00:47tonight in Las Vegas, what are you expecting to see? Yeah, I

00:52expect a blowout if we're being honest here. I think OKC runs

00:56them off the court here, Ben. I just, I don't see that the

01:00energy on the defensive side of the ball against Giannis is

01:04going to be over the top. I think that they are, they're

01:07going to force anybody else to try to make some shots here and

01:11quite honestly, I don't trust the Milwaukee defense to even

01:14come remotely close to slowing the Oklahoma City Thunder down

01:18offensively. I think they'll get what they want. I think

01:22Hartenstein's set to have an absolutely monster game and I

01:27think ultimately, it's going to be fun to watch back and forth

01:31until Oklahoma City just wears down the Milwaukee Buffs here,

01:36who by the way, have their big three all listed as

01:40questionable 24 hours ago. We'll see if there's anything

01:45more to that, but I mean, just I want everyone to watch this

01:49tonight, Ben, and then think what would this team be like if

01:51Chet Holmgren was on the court? Yeah, just keep that in mind.

01:55They already, they already are the Western Conference

01:58favorites. They already have the second best price to win the

02:01NBA championship. We expected OKC to play in monumental games

02:06like this one entering this year. Oklahoma City has lived

02:10up to that billing. Joe, although they might not win the

02:14cup tonight, if you are correct and as the odds makers expect

02:18with the Thunder laying five points in Las Vegas, the Bucks

02:21have used the NBA Cup to resurrect their season. They

02:25entered their first game in group action against Toronto as

02:30a two and eight basketball team in 2024-25. They have won 12 of

02:36their previous 15 to get to this stage tonight. Now, I do

02:41also want to talk about the total. 215 and a hook is where

02:45the number stands right now. We have talked about the

02:48intensity, the atmospheres of these games. Every other game

02:52throughout a run to the NBA Cup has counted to your regular

02:55season record, right? We are trying to incentivize the

02:57regular season in the NBA. This game does not, but the reason I

03:02bring up the total is because that intensity has been there.

03:05We have seen great defense. Both of these teams in their

03:09semifinal Saturday showdowns in Las Vegas played well to the

03:14under. OKC limited Houston to just 96 points. How much offense

03:21do we see tonight in Sin City? I think you are going to see

03:25exactly the same thing. I mean, listen, OKC is not going to want

03:29to get into some sort of three ball contest here with Lillard

03:35on the other side. What I do think is that whoever you think

03:39is going to lose this game, you should probably look at their

03:42team total under because I just don't see it happening. The

03:46Thunder have a million long athletic wings to defend and

03:52throw at Damian Lillard, Middleton, AJ Green, you name

03:56it. I think they're going to force probably it's just going

04:00to be Giannis or bust at some point in this game. So I like

04:03his point prop to go over here tonight, but I just don't see it

04:08being enough because of the defensive effort by OKC. I

04:12don't think this is going to be a up tempo game by any stretch.

04:15So I like OKC to win. I don't like Milwaukee to win this game

04:20and I don't like their team total over. I'll look at their

04:24team total under as well.
