00:00Huge game yesterday in Cleveland, perhaps not for both teams looking for a playoff spot,

00:09but for the Chiefs trying to maintain that number one overall seed in the AFC and perhaps

00:14prove to people around the National Football League that we are actually a good football

00:19team despite now being 13 and one, because that is the record for the Chiefs.

00:25Yesterday 21 to 7, the victory over the Browns, they cover as a four and a half point favorite.

00:32The Chiefs now as a six and a half point favorite or fewer this year, five and two against the

00:36spread.

00:37That's good.

00:38Finally, not a one score game for Casey.

00:41That's good.

00:4214 point victory margin, largest of the year for Kansas City.

00:46That is also good.

00:48So what could be the issue?

00:50Eight minutes remaining in the fourth quarter with the Chiefs comfortably ahead by two touchdowns,

00:55fourth and short Patrick Mahomes trying to look to extend the play and keep the drive

01:00alive is kind of sandwiched between a couple of Browns defenders, gets up and limps off

01:07the field with what the Chiefs are calling a high ankle injury.

01:41some rest even in week 18 heading into the playoffs where you get that rest in round

01:46But now we take a look at Patrick Mahomes who yesterday, this is the like, I like what

01:52This might've been one of their better performances, windy, rainy conditions on the road.

01:56You figure Jameis Winston might have some magic out there and it certainly didn't work

01:59out that way.

02:06Once they got a 14 up into that weather, I didn't think there was any way that Cleveland

02:09was coming back.

02:10So good win by them.

02:11But now you start to look because we know how tough Patrick Mahomes is.

02:14He's played through a lot of injuries and he stood in the pocket and performance and

02:17you know what?

02:18I can barely move, but at least if I'm out there, it's better than me not being out there.

02:22You look at their next three games and maybe it's, you've got to change the schedule around

02:25by saying, okay, Texans would be week 18 where they'd have everything wrapped up because

02:29they won the division, but they can't really get a higher seed.

02:31If you go that route, you play them next week.

02:33The Texas is going to give you the best punch they have.

02:36Then you're going on the road against the Steelers who is still at that time fighting

02:38either a for the top overall seat.

02:40If they smell blood in the water from Kansas City or be just trying to win the division

02:43over the Baltimore Ravens.

02:45And then you get the Broncos in the final game of the year, which you might be needing

02:48for the Broncos just to secure that final spot or final two spots to get into the playoff.

02:57they could probably lose both of those football games going up against those teams.

03:01And now you're saying, do we just rest him in week 18, even if we have a chance to still

03:04get the number one overall seed, because we just want Patrick Mahomes to be a hundred

03:08percent healthy when he gets to the playoffs, tough injury, but they have a little bit of

03:12a blanket and Ken Carson went step up, but we'll find out a little bit more today, hopefully

03:16on that, when that MRI gets back in the prognosis of when we think he can play.
