There are many fantastic areas across the UK to visit for a delicious meal of fish and chips, with award-winning chippies dotted across the nation. 00:05While we all have our local chippy, or maybe we like to go to a restaurant for some fish and chips,

00:11there are so many incredible establishments across the UK that offer a delicious portion.

00:16However, there are some areas in particular that are really known for their fish and chips.

00:21The first place is Wetherby in Leeds.

00:23Wetherby is home to the original Wetherby Whaler, which was founded in 1989,

00:28and it is well known for its delicious fish and chips.

00:32At number two is South Shields.

00:34South Shields is home to plenty of award-winning fish and chip shops, including Coleman's.
