00:00So I wanted to quickly ask how amazing it is to finally be able to premiere this film and have the
00:04world see it. It's been a long road. We started during COVID. I mean it was literally three years
00:10ago and so I can't wait for everyone, you know, when you put this much work into something it's
00:16like you just want people to come and see the film and that's where we are so we're pretty excited.
00:22I know previous Sony Marvel films didn't quite land with audiences so I wanted to ask what
00:26sort of sets this story apart from the rest? Yeah, you know, I treated this story exactly
00:32the way I have every other film I've ever made which is you just try and make the absolute best
00:36film that you can, build the best characters, hire the best people and tell the best story and so I
00:43think when people knock on wood when they come out and see this they'll realize, you know, everyone
00:49did a pretty beautiful job and, you know, it's, I think we did a pretty, I think it's a pretty
00:55good little film. For sure and you take a look at Aaron Taylor-Johnson. What about him when you
01:00saw him went, this is, this is our guy? Actually there's this really beautiful music video for
01:07R.E.M. that his wife shot many years ago and he's just walking down the street in London,
01:13dancing, no nothing, just dancing to this R.E.M. song and the way he moves and the confidence
01:23and the way he used all the elements of the street to sort of, you know, do his, you know,
01:30it's this amazing thing. It goes on for like four minutes and it's just this kid and I, for some
01:36reason I saw that and then when I met him it was like, done. What do you think is the craziest stunt
01:42that he pulls off? Oh man, I think it has to be the London chase in the middle of the movie when he's,
01:48and a lot of that is, a lot of that is Aaron so it's pretty, but that London chase, it's in the
01:54middle of our movie and it really, I think it really is something that I grew up in London for
02:00five years, four years and to get to shoot that sequence there, it was like a dream come true.
02:06Very quickly, where do you see Craven's story going next and is there the possibility of kind
02:10of throwing Spider-Man into the mix? Yeah, I mean, let's hope this one works and then
02:16there's a lot of places he could go.
