MKM's Jane Plant discusses the Hartlepool Mail-backed Christmas gift appeal

00:00We've had quite a few donations already. There's always room for more. We've already had charities

00:14and schools ringing us regarding if we can donate to them, which we're more than happy

00:18to do so. But please bring more. There's always room for lots of more gifts. There's always

00:23somebody that needs something. We get toys for our children, girls and boys, from teenagers

00:29which are great for gift boxes, down to babies. But anything and everything is donated to

00:36the charities of Hartlepool. Am I right in thinking that bringing them down into here

00:40to Vernon Road is the best thing to do? It is, yeah. If you can bring them down, we're

00:42open Monday to Friday, 7.30am till 5.30pm, Saturdays 7.30am till 12pm. There's always

00:48somebody in the branch that will take the gifts off them. The general public already

00:52have been very generous, as have our customers and staff. But as I say, please, please bring

00:57anything you can. It always goes to fantastic charities and schools.
