Best youngsters throughout Liverpool club this season

A look at which players have a bright future at LFC.

00:00Looking at Liverpool's squad, obviously we mentioned it is quite short of numbers, there's

00:07not an amazing amount of depth, but there are some exciting youngsters in terms of the

00:12future who could maybe make a step into that Arnie Schlott's starting side or even the

00:19first-team squad, who are youngsters at the club to look out for in the future, whether

00:24it's 2025 or even further along the line, that fans can get really excited for. Whether

00:30it's signings or academy prospects, we've obviously seen the likes of Trent and Curtis

00:36Jones make fantastic impacts at the club.

00:39Yeah, I mean, you're looking at a couple else on loan now, and Ben Dukes absolutely

00:43thriving at Middlesbrough. He's been highly rated since he came in from Celtic a couple

00:49of years ago. He came in as an under-18 player, and when he was 16 he was making his debut

00:54for the first team. He was playing in the Premier League that season as well. He needs

00:59to go out on loan, and it looks like it's really working wonders for him. Regular for

01:05Scotland now, gave Gav Dahl all sorts of problems in the last international break, so he's won.

01:13Lewis Kumas is doing fairly well out at Stoke City in the Championship, but in terms of

01:19the players, they're at Liverpool. Trey Ione, who signed from Leicester last summer, really

01:25exciting prospects, has a really good pre-season. Liverpool, in the summer, they went out and

01:31bought Real and Jomoa, or they brought him in from Chelsea. A compensation package will

01:37have to be agreed between the two sides, and Chelsea, by all accounts, were furious that

01:43Liverpool had poached one of their real top, top prospects to come in. Jomoa, he played

01:51for the under-21s at age 15, he trained with the first team, and you've seen him training

01:56with the first team now on a semi-frequent basis. That shows how highly he clearly is

02:03rated by Arne Slott and his coaching staff, but also you've got to temper that and think

02:10let's not hype him up too much because anything can happen. In terms of other youngsters,

02:14you're looking at Amara Nallo, who came in 2023 from West Ham as well, and Jadon Downs.

02:21Maybe people have forgotten a little bit about him. He had a really good season last season,

02:27was prolific for the youth team, came in for his debut in the Carabao Cup final, of course,

02:34and then scores a brace off the bench in the FA Cup against Southampton. There's always

02:40plenty of prospects coming through, a couple more I'm sure I haven't mentioned, Steffen

02:44Berset at Joules at Salzburg. There's plenty to be excited about in terms of players coming

02:50through.
