Starbucks’ new CEO wants you to get coffee in “less than 30 seconds”

00:00Starbucks has been under fire for its longer wait times, with some customers reporting 15-30 minute delays for their orders.

00:07But new CEO Brian Nickell told Good Morning America that he wants to get a cup of coffee in customers' hands in less than 30 seconds.

00:14Some reports suggest the long wait times are due to understaffing and a lack of reliable equipment.

00:19In fact, the coffee chain's second quarter results were hurt due to customers cancelling orders rather than waiting for them to be completed.

00:26The speedier coffee goal is part of the list of other changes Nickell envisions for the company,

00:30like no extra charges for non-dairy milk and bringing back the Sharpies for cup personalization.
