00:00The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority or MMDA said that provincial buses will be allowed

00:05to traverse EDSA to accommodate the anticipated surge in passengers this holiday season.

00:10According to MMDA chairman Romando Don Artes, provincial buses would be allowed on EDSA from

00:16December 20 to 25 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. from December 26 to January 2 next year. On the other

00:23hand, buses will be allowed on EDSA 24-7. In the meantime, some bus companies have assured

00:28their preparedness to ensure the safety of passengers.
