00:16She described Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley's behavior as selfish, negligent, and disconnected
00:22from the struggles of citizens, saying the prime minister is a lazy, greedy old man who
00:27should get a pay cut, not an increase.
00:30Prasad Bissessa says Dr. Rowley does not care about the average citizen and chose a lengthy
00:35press conference to justify his acceptance of a pay increase for himself instead of speaking
00:42to the out-of-control violent crime and murders, the high cost of living, poor health care,
00:47no forex, job losses, and increased utility rates and taxes.
00:53She says, quote, Rowley is wholly tone deaf and ignorant of the pulse and pain of the
00:59population who are fed up, angry, and frustrated living in a country besieged by crime and
01:06where its social fabric is deteriorating.
01:09He said he would bear the cross of this decision without fear of retribution.
01:14That retribution, Mrs. Prasad Bissessa says, would be in the upcoming general election,
01:19which she promises would see the return of her UNC government to restore law, order,
01:24and prosperity, and where citizens would be the priority.
