00:00In the last hearing of the Senate regarding the Pogo issue in the country, Senator Risa Hontiveros and Michael Yang have heavy allegations.

00:09The Senator also presented the web chart of individuals connected or involved in the illegal Pogo operation.

00:16Daniel Manalastas has the details.

00:20Senator Risa Hontiveros' most heavy allegation is against the former economic advisor of the Duterte administration, Michael Yang.

00:29Hontiveros presented a picture where Yang is with the so-called self-confessed spy, Xia Zhijiang.

00:38Michael Yang is a key actor in Chinese intelligence operations here.

00:43Michael Yang was involved in the farmally and, if the reports are accurate, in the drug operations here.

00:52Michael Yang, the economic advisor of the former president.

00:56We were already convicted, but we were still persecuted.

01:00He also confessed to the former Bambang-Tarlac mayor, Alice Guo.

01:05But according to the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency, it is not yet clear if Guo is really a spy.

01:11As to the question whether or not Guo Huaping is a spy or, to be more accurate, a foreign intelligence agent,

01:18the intelligence agency that trained her, employed her, and supervised her or controlled her,

01:27either confirms or an officer of that agency confirms the existence or the fact, rather, of Ms. Guo Huaping being their agent.

01:41We have not come to that determination yet.

01:45The activities and the facts that have come to light so far in this committee and in other committees, especially in the House,

01:52point to the fact that she is.

01:54And even in discussions within the intelligence community, there is consensus that, indeed, she is an agent of influence.

02:02In the closing statement of Senator Arisa Contiveros,

02:06the Malaweb chart was released where the picture of the former President Rodrigo Duterte can be seen.

02:14Pogos welcomed with open arms by the administration of former President Duterte.

02:19They have now been revealed to be nothing but a Trojan horse.

02:24They have exposed a web of people.

02:32A web of people who used Pogos for their own selfish interests, their own personal gain, all at the expense of the Filipino people.

02:42The Pogos did not bring anything here but a web.

02:46The court did not allow Ms. Guo to leave because of the simultaneous schedule of her hearing in court.

02:53The hearing of the Senate Committee on Pogos has been adjourned.

02:57And the committee report is expected to be completed while some cases are rolling in our courts.

03:04Within almost two years of the Senate hearing on Pogos,

03:07Ms. Contiveros proved that the Pogos operations included torture, human trafficking, and money laundering.
