00:06over four decades, surpassing 100 billion pesos in 2023, marking a 40% increase from the previous
00:15year. PACOR Chair Alejandro Tanco emphasized that 65% of the agency's earnings are returned to the
00:23public through remittances to the National Treasury and funding for a key government
00:29program such as the Universal Health Care Act and the Renewable Energy Act. In addition to
00:35financial milestones, Chairman Tanco highlighted one of PACOR's significant achievements,
00:42the complete closure of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators, or POGOs,
00:47in compliance with the directive of President Ferdinand Marquez, Jr. PACOR also announced
00:53its upcoming projects, which include the construction of specialty hospitals,
00:59high-quality classrooms, social-civic centers, and other infrastructure that will benefit the public.
