It’s definitely looking a lot like Christmas in Leeds City Centre as festive favourites can be found in Millennium Square, City Square and Victoria Gardens.

00:00It's definitely looking a lot like Christmas in Leeds City Centre, as the Christmas markets

00:07are in City Square and Millennium Square this year, with festivities also to be found in

00:12Victoria Gardens. Around 80 local, national and international traders can be discovered,

00:17along with pop-up musical performances, Christmas food and drink, seasonal outdoor bars and

00:22handcrafted goods. Millennium Square is home to the Ice Cube at Christmas, with its covered

00:28ice-skating rink among the attractions, and the carousel and ferris wheel have also returned.

00:33The Little Bird artisan market flies into town each weekend on Bond Court, and we can

00:38now hear from some of those soaking up the seasonal shenanigans.

00:43What I'm looking forward to is actually the big tower with obviously the spinny seats

00:47on it. Yeah, we're quite happy going up there, seeing the view of Leeds. Beautiful Christmas

00:54lights. I must admit, this year's Christmas lights in Leeds is a lot better than last

00:57year. We're really enjoying it so far. There's even some fake snow at the Ice Cube. And we're

01:04students in Leeds, so this is our first Christmas in Leeds, and we're loving it so far. Yep,

01:09very nice. It's really nice. We were on the games, and we had a lot of fun, and you can

01:14take photos from up there, and it looks really pretty. Yeah, and the hot chocolate's amazing

01:18as well, so I agree. We got a German hot dog, and it was amazing, and we're looking

01:24forward to seeing the Christmas lights. It's our first time. Yeah, our first time, but

01:29we love it. The city square market runs until the 22nd of December, and the Ice Cube ice

01:34rink, stores and attractions run until New Year's Eve. I've been in Leeds for 10 years

01:38now, and I think it's a beautiful city. It's a growing city. It's a lot busier now that

01:44we've got loads more students in the city, but no, it's a wonderful place to be at Christmas

01:51because it's lively. You can be here in Millennium Square. You can be outside the train station.

01:57You can be outside the Radisson Bleu, and it's all happening.
