Couple Builds Stray Cat The Coziest House Ahead of Winter

After this couple started seeing a stray black cat in their yard, they worried he would be cold during the winter — wait until you see the amazing custom home they built for him outside! ❤️

00:00He's very cautious of everything.

00:08He would never come into our house.

00:10No, he doesn't want to come in. He doesn't really want to be around people.

00:24We do home renovations.

00:26So I told Chris that I wanted to build him a house.

00:31I was like, if we're going to do this, we're going to do it right.

00:34We're going to build a nice, like, cedar-shake cabin for him, and it's going to be amazing.

00:41The main thing was to have it insulated so it's warm.

00:53The cedar shake, I think, was the perfect complement to our house.

00:56It's great for protecting for grain.

00:59On the entryway is a picture that's on the top of the Sistine Chapel.

01:03I think he's a pretty tasteful cat, and I think he'll appreciate that.

01:07Oh, for sure.

01:08Yeah.

01:09He needed the best of the best. We knew that.

01:11Yeah.

01:13You're good there.

01:18We finally saw him come. He just poked his little head inside the door.

01:28He looked like a king.

01:34And now he's going to be warm this winter.

01:36And the fact that we get to provide a home for a cat that needed it, that's just like a cherry on top.

01:43It brought the joy back into doing home renovations.

01:46If he would get comfortable with people, we would home him immediately.
