00:00The Department of Justice, or DOJ, has begun its preliminary investigation into the complaint

00:05filed by former President Rodrigo Duterte against former Department of the Interior

00:10and Local Government, or DILG, Secretary Benhar Abalos and the police.

00:15The complaint is related to the issuance of an arrest warrant against Kingdom of Jesus

00:20Christ, or KOJC, leader Apollo Kibuloy.

00:23Abalos submitted his counter-affidavit to the DOJ, asserting his belief that he committed

00:29no wrongdoing in the operation.

00:31The charges filed against Abalos include malicious mischief, violation of domicile, grave misconduct,

00:39grave abuse of authority, and conduct unbecoming of a police officer.
