Leeds “taking chances” will be key against Swansea

00:00The first of that though is of course Swansea City and we previewed that slightly last week,

00:06we're going to look again at it this time round. Again I think we said this last week it's a game

00:11where let's be honest Leeds have to go there and get something really given where Swansea are,

00:16where Leeds are, what Leeds are fighting for at the moment and you need to be there to capitalise

00:22on any mistakes or slip-ups by the teams that are around them as well so it's one of those again,

00:28but then does it fall into that category of the Bristol City, the Millwalls away sort of thing

00:32where you've gone there thinking well yes you're the better team but it's still going to be tough

00:37so what will make the difference in this one, what can change it from a draw or a loss into

00:42three points? Well I just think fine margins and taking your chances will be key in this because

00:47the stat that stands out a million miles with Swansea is the fact they've only scored 11 goals

00:52you know which after 15 games is not good, worse than the division and you would think well how

00:56on earth are they where they are then they're from the 11th in the table, 19 points 10 behind

01:00Leeds but only six off the playoff so it's not you know they're not a million miles off the top

01:03six to be honest so you think how on earth are they there well they've only conceded 10 you know

01:07which is really good obviously and to be honest I think 10 goals is the fifth best in division and

01:12you'd be you know that's quite surprising really you think that maybe conceding 10 in 15 would be

01:16top if not second so and Leeds themselves one of those teams who are ahead of them and obviously

01:22three of the goals Leeds conceded they were in that mad game against Portsmouth so that that's

01:26the that's the stat that stands out doesn't it you know the fact that Swansea don't basically

01:30Swansea don't score many but they don't concede many so it's a sort of game you could quite easily

01:33see being 1-0 either way and as I say it almost feels like 6-6 for example well exactly we say

01:38all this and it'll end up being like 3-3 or something yeah you wouldn't rule that out and

01:43yeah I mean you wouldn't rule that out because they are a sort of side that like to play football

01:46and you think sooner or later it might click for them you know so but hopefully not this weekend

01:50so as I say from the stats point of view it feels a bit like that Millwall game you know where you

01:55could just see it going one goal either way but yeah I think you're right you've got to go that

01:58got to go there and win you know you've got to try turning the screw now and try and get into

02:01the top two and and stay there it's I think but then I think you can almost look at these next

02:05three as a next three games as a block of three you got Swansea away difficult game though obviously

02:10going down there Sunday afternoon like all the travel and stuff first game back after international

02:14breaks and even if like obviously they have a clean bill of health of the injuries on the

02:18international front you've still got players coming back who have had very much prep then

02:21you've got the travel down to Swansea you know getting down there staying over whatever and

02:25stuff and this that and the other so it's you know and it's not exactly just down the road

02:28is it Swansea so there's you know that there are all that to factor in it's a difficult game

02:33then you've got Luton at home on Wednesday night obviously I think I was one of the ones who said

02:36pre-season that I could see Luton being one of the main contenders and it hasn't quite worked

02:39out that way but there's still time for him yet I've got Rob Edwards is a very good manager and

02:44you won't rule them out you know surgeon at the table at some stage so that'll be difficult as

02:49well and then obviously got Blackburn away the following weekend so you know and they're a

02:53good side as well so that that's you know that's like three difficult games
