00:00In early November, a beautiful domestic longhair from Malaysia named Baby was crowned the world
00:08winner in the house cat longhair category at the Federation International Feline World
00:13Show in Norway.
00:15It was certainly a proud moment for Malaysia, especially as the Jalur Gemilang was projected
00:20on a screen just before Baby was announced as the winner of the coveted title.
00:25Although Baby is a seasoned competitor locally, this was her first time competing overseas.
00:37During the long journey to Norway, Baby travelled like a champ and even adapted well to the
00:42cold climate there.
00:44So what was she judged on in Norway?
01:14Indeed, beneath Baby's beautiful eyes and silky fur is a sweet and gentle nature that
01:20allows her to win people over easily.
01:23Her fur parents describe her as a well-behaved cat who gets along well with the rest of her
01:29siblings.
01:30Fun fact, Ruaida and Shaharuddin have over 40 felines at home.
01:35Despite winning many competitions, Baby doesn't behave like a diva, even when her catty brothers
01:41and sisters encroach on her favourite spaces at home.
01:45So what keeps this beauty queen looking so good?
01:48Shaharuddin regularly grooms her and she also enjoys a healthy diet of dry food and supplements,
01:55although she is particularly fond of wet food.
01:58As for the future, her humans hope to sign her up for the next world show, slated to
02:03be held in Romania in 2025.
02:06Until then, how will Baby be enjoying her success?
