(Adnkronos) - "GDA Impact è un programma di investimenti da oltre 60 milioni di euro che arricchisce la gamma di strumenti che già abbiamo a disposizione per sostenere l’economia sociale”. Così Marco Gerevini, consigliere delegato della Fondazione Social Venture Giordano Dell’Amore (FSVGDA), in occasione del lancio di GDA Impact, il programma di investimenti a impatto di oltre 60 milioni di euro avviato da Fondazione Social Venture Giordano Dell’Amore e Fondazione Cariplo con l’obiettivo di sostenere l’offerta di capitali a favore di start- up, imprese e veicoli attivi nell’ambito dell’economia sociale italiana.

00:00What is the Impact Grant?

00:04It is a program of investments of over 60 million

00:09that enriches the range of tools we have available to support the social economy.

00:16We have a series of tools between philanthropy and traditional finance

00:23that in this space tries to intervene with hybrid tools such as the Impact Grant,

00:29tools and investment programs such as the Grant to Equity

00:34and with the new investment vehicle, the GDI Impact,

00:38also with tools that have a source in the heritage resources Mission Connected,

00:46in this case of the Cariplo Foundation.

00:48So a wide range of tools to support the social economy,

00:52trying to meet the specific needs of this particular market,

00:57which are mainly reduced capital costs and long-term temporal horizons,

01:04trying to enhance above all the dimension of the impact.

01:08With this initiative, with this new investment program,

01:11we hope to help the social economy to strengthen, to grow

01:16and also to attract new capital and new investors in this space.
