UST downs Adamson to reach Final Four  For the first time in five years, the UST Growling Tigers reach the UAAP men's basketball Final Four after scoring a 75-49 win over the Adamson Soaring Falcons to close their Season 87 elimination round campaign at the FilOil EcoOil Center on Nov. 16, 2024. The Growling Tigers sealed the third spot with a 7-7 slate. The last time UST entered semifinals was in UAAP Season 82 in 2019. 00:07And after five years, USC is going back in the men's basketball final tournament.

00:27First of all, the game itself.

00:30The first quarter, we didn't struggle.

00:35So, Adamson had a good start.

00:39Then, we recovered.

00:41Then, in the third and fourth quarter, we actually got three points in the last two seconds, three seconds.

00:48We're up by four. That's the game.

00:50Up by one.

00:52And then, that's it.

00:54The difference is in the second half.

00:56We became aggressive.

00:58Then, we're making our shots.

01:00Portskey and K.P. dictating the game.

01:03And then, Nick struggled in the first half.

01:09And then, of course, they said there were some magic points.
