00:00Charlie, looking at Wolves and the Fosun era in general, sometimes it's good to just sit
00:08back and reflect when so much is going on week in, week out, especially with the fixture
00:14period. Just on the Fosun era, obviously they came in quite a long time ago now. They got
00:20it right eventually with the appointment of Nuno Espirito Santo. Looking back on some
00:26of the signings that were involved, obviously George Mendes, the super agent, was heavily
00:30involved at the time. They made some massive signings in the Championship, won the division
00:35with flying colours and then had some fantastic success in the Premier League and even a European
00:41campaign as well. So who has been the sort of standout signings that fans can look back
00:45on and be really sort of reminiscent of those great times?
00:49Yes, it's very good to be reminiscent, especially when things haven't been so good recently
00:54with Fosun. But they have made some great signings over the years, it has to be said,
00:58as you mentioned. I think the standout for most people will be Ruben Neves. Of course,
01:02for £15 million in the Championship at the time, that was an incredible amount of money.
01:06But he went on to be worth every single penny and more. Obviously, Wolves got a profit for
01:12him when he moved on to Al-Hilal about a year or so ago. But in the Championship, he was
01:16absolutely unstoppable. One of the best players the division has ever seen, let alone just
01:20for Wolves, and then in the Premier League as well, continuing that fine form, showing
01:25signs of being Champions League quality, let alone just Wolves quality, and becoming captain
01:30of the club as well, having such a connection with the fan base, so, so important. Joao Martinho,
01:35another Portuguese midfielder at the other end of his career, he was definitely in the
01:39twilight years of his career, but his talent was just clear to see. One of the best in
01:46terms of just pure talent and pure technical ability, one of the best players Wolves have
01:50probably ever seen. Raul Jimenez, around a similar era to Neves as well, one of the
01:55best goal scorers the club will have ever seen. Just so prolific in his prime, the way
02:00he just shrugged off defenders and fired in the corner of the net, had so much power.
02:03His heading ability as well can't be underestimated. It's just such a shame that he had that terrible
02:08injury against Arsenal. And then Rui Patricio, such a great success in terms of being an
02:13upgrade on John Ruddy at the time, and Wolves really needed a new keeper to take them forward
02:19because they were progressing so much in a variety of competitions. And Patricio was
02:22that man, a great shot stopper and great with his feet as well.
02:26If there's anyone that Wolves fans could maybe bring back that the players have let go, obviously
02:32Neves, Martinho has obviously gone now, Jota as well to name a few. Who do you think maybe
02:38could be on their lips for a play, if they could bring one back, that they would?
02:43Pedro Neto going to Chelsea in the summer is quite a recent one that Wolves fans would
02:47love to have back, but it's got to be Raul Jimenez. The amount of goals he used to score
02:51in his prime at least, and now he's back in form with Fulham. I think Wolves fans would
02:55love to see him leading the line at Molineux again, especially with the lack of goals so
02:59far this season.
