00:00The Department of Education is planning to allocate P500 million for the School Electrification Program in the country.

00:06This is to provide electricity to schools that do not have electricity or off-grid schools.

00:12The program also aims to improve the electrical system of on-grid schools.

00:18Senator Sherwin Gatchalian is very pleased with the additional funds from the previous proposal.

00:23This will not only improve the quality of education in the country, but also the facilities for students and teachers.
