00:06about Alabama versus LSU probably some expectation for LSU to pull it up a

00:11bigger fight here but falling short to Alabama 42 to 13 able to grab a few

00:15extra points as the fourth quarter wound down but we saw that Alabama's just kind

00:19of sitting right inside the window still for a playoff opportunity LSU kind of

00:23looking in but what did this performance by Alabama do for their playoff stock

00:27an opportunity we knew it was kind of do-or-die for both of these teams

00:31Milrow with another huge performance to help Alabama secure a win yeah I mean

00:36this was a playoff elimination game there's no question I don't think a

00:40three loss team gets into the playoffs I mean it's possible a team could sneak in

00:45with an at-large bid I don't think it happens this season for LSU to lose as

00:50badly as they did at home they don't lose night games at home especially under

00:56Brian Kelly and for them to be mauled the way they were against Alabama was a

01:01shocker I certainly thought this was going to be a lot more competitive game

01:04Garrett Nussmeier his performance over the past couple of weeks really gives

01:09you the impression guys that that he would be wise to come back to Baton Rouge

01:14for another season rather than test NFL waters he would be drafted for sure but

01:19I think he could improve his NFL draft stock by returning to school in 2025 but

01:24what Alabama did not just offensively you're right Casey Jalen Milrow fantastic

01:29may have catapulted himself back into the Heisman discussion but the defense

01:33which had struggled a lot this year especially at the point of attack they

01:38abused an LSU offensive line that has two future NFL tackles and Emery Jones

01:43and Will Campbell they had their way with the LSU offensive line so Alabama

01:48suddenly those two SEC teams Alabama and Ole Miss really helped their cause when

01:53it comes to the playoffs Alabama can take this game this is such a big

01:57confidence boost and just quickly before we move on to another game the coaching

02:02mismatch here was Kalen DeBoer with two weeks to prepare over Brian Kelly I mean

02:07the game plan from Kalen DeBoer Nick Sheridan his offensive coordinator they

02:12just ran circles around that LSU staff so I mean we might be seeing another
