00:00Hi, Chris Byrne here, Yorkshire Post Business and Features Editor. So there's a big question
00:04today which has come from Asda's own chairman who is asking whether the shop has lost the
00:11plot. The supermarket has put out its results showing a 5% drop in sales, near 5% drop in
00:19sales and Lord Stuart Rose has given an interview to the Press Association about it all and
00:24made some quite striking comments, basically saying the store experience isn't as good
00:30as it should be and that the availability of products isn't as good as it should be
00:34and that prices aren't as competitive as they should be. He says there's a plan to fix it,
00:40they want to bring in more workers, particularly over the Christmas period, in shops, but really
00:46interesting comments, quite unguarded comments from the chairman of the company. I'm interested
00:53to hear what people think about whether Asda needs to improve the way it's doing things.
