Starbucks to Pull Olive Oil-Infused Oleato Drinks from U.S. Menus, Aligning with CEO Brian Niccol’s 'Back To Starbucks' Strategy

Starbucks will discontinue its Oleato line of olive oil-infused beverages in U.S. stores in early November. The decision was made before Brian Niccol was appointed CEO. The move aligns with Niccol's goal to streamline the menu, which is part of his larger strategy to return to fundamentals amid declining sales. The Oleato line infused Partanna olive oil into popular beverages. Despite Schultz's high praise, U.S. reviews were critical, and some customers reported laxative effects. The Oleato drinks will remain available in cafes in China, Italy, and Japan.
