00:00Aimed at bringing communities together over a shared love of Liverpool, the Love Your
00:05campaign is aiming to highlight all the things for which we should be proud of in Liverpool.
00:11From the friendly faces and green spaces to the pub crawlers and independent ballers.
00:16As part of our Love Your campaign to highlight the reasons we all love Liverpool, we decided
00:20to ask some locals where their dream place to live on Merseyside would be if money was
00:26no object.
00:28If we include over the water as part of Merseyside then I'd go over to the likes of Hoyley,
00:34West Kirby, quite a bit.
00:37I do like Hoyley, it's easily accessible for me, just get on the train, get off at
00:43James Street.
00:44I'd live by the docks, it's really lively, loads of different food venues as well, loads
00:49of different people there, it's really nice, really lovely, yeah.
00:53I think if you talk about this side of the water, Formby is an obvious one, Freshfield,
01:02I like it round there when I go, and also a few places in South Liverpool like Walton.
01:09I would like to live in Formby, Ainsdale, because it's a better area, I'm not knocking
01:18Liverpool, Liverpool's a beautiful place.
01:22I like where I live, I'm not saying that I don't, but in an ideal world, I think, you
01:27think, oh, you know, where would you like to go, where you've got facilities, you've
01:32got places that you want to go, and I think those.
01:37I would buy Clough Towers if I won the lottery.
01:40Earlier this year, Sefton Park was named as one of the best places to live in the UK by
01:44the Sunday Times.
01:45Expert judges assess everything from house prices, schools, air quality, transport to
01:51broadband speeds, culture, green spaces and the health of the high street to compile a
01:56definitive list.
